14. Tòa Đạt Nhân (xưa) và Nhà A19 (nay)

Abstract

<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Giảng đường – Phòng thí nghiệm Đạt Nhân</strong></p><p style="text-align: justify;"><em>Đạt</em> có nghĩa là sự thông suốt; <em>Đạt Nhân</em> là người hiểu biết, thông suốt mọi lẽ ở đời. Lấy chữ <em>Đạt Nhân</em> – một thiện tự của các bậc thánh hiền – để đặt tên cho giảng đường và phòng thí nghiệm, các nhà giáo dục tiền bối của Viện Đại học Đà Lạt mong muốn người học nắm bắt được tinh thông một phương diện chuyên môn nào đó để trở thành những chuyên gia trong lĩnh vực của mình, từ đó <em>Đạt</em> tới đức<em> Nhân</em>, nghĩa là đạt tới tư cách hoàn toàn của con người.</p><p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Nhà A19</strong></p><p style="text-align: justify;">Nhà A19 ngày nay được sử dụng làm Văn phòng – Phòng thí nghiệm của Khoa Sinh học, Trường Đại học Đà Lạt.</p><p style="text-align: justify;">----------------------------------</p><p style="text-align: justify;"><strong><em>Đạt Nhân</em></strong><strong> Lecture Hall and Laboratory</strong></p><p style="text-align: justify;"><em>Đạt</em> carries the meaning of grasp understanding, while <em>Nhân</em> signifies a person who comprehends the profound truths of life. Naming a lecture hall and laboratory after <em>Đạt Nhân</em> reflects the aspiration of the university’s founders, who wished their students to grasp expertise in a particular field, ultimately becoming experts in their own right. In this way, they would attain the status of <em>Nhân</em> and achieve the full essence of humanity.</p><p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Building A19</strong></p><p style="text-align: justify;">Building A19 currently holds the offices and laboratories of the Faculty of Biology at Dalat University.</p>
