07. Thư viện Hồng y Agagianian (xưa) và Trung tâm AIC–DLU (nay)

Abstract

<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Thư viện Hồng y Agagianian</strong></p><p style="text-align: justify;">Thư viện <em>Agagianian</em> nằm ở vị trí trung tâm của khuôn viên Viện Đại học Đà Lạt, giữa các Giảng đường <em>Hội Hữu, Minh Thành, </em>Đại giảng đường<em> Spellman</em>, và Nguyện đường<em> Năng Tĩnh</em> trong một khung cảnh thật nên thơ. Thư viện được gọi theo họ của Đức Hồng y Giáo chủ Gregorio Pietro Agagianian và do chính Ngài khánh thành vào năm 1959.</p><p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Trung tâm Giáo dục Đào tạo Trí tuệ nhân tạo AIC–DLU ngày nay</strong></p><p style="text-align: justify;">Sau năm 1975, Thư viện tiếp tục hoạt động phục vụ nhu cầu nghiên cứu, học tập của giảng viên và sinh viên Trường Đại học Đà Lạt trong nhiều năm cho đến khi Trung tâm Thông tin – Thư viện mới được đưa vào sử dụng vào năm 2005.</p><p style="text-align: justify;">Với sự tài trợ của <em>Tập đoàn Liên Thái Bình Dương</em> (IPPG), vào năm 2022, tòa nhà Thư viện cũ đã được chỉnh trang, nâng cấp thành trụ sở của Trung tâm Giáo dục Đào tạo Trí tuệ nhân tạo Trường Đại học Đà Lạt (AIC–DLU). Trung tâm này nằm trong khuôn viên rộng, xanh, và thơ mộng của Trường Đại học Đà Lạt với 3 phòng học lớn có sức chứa khoảng 60 học viên/phòng, được trang bị hiện đại phục vụ cho việc học tập, nghiên cứu và sáng tạo AI. Trung tâm AIC–DLU phản ảnh tầm nhìn và hoài bão của Tiến sĩ danh dự <em>Johnathan Hạnh Nguyễn</em> – Chủ tịch IPPG và là cựu sinh viên của Trường – về xây dựng hệ sinh thái giáo dục AI–Robotics ở Việt Nam để ươm mầm các tài năng AI cho đất nước.</p><p style="text-align: justify;">---------------------------------------------</p><p style="text-align: justify;"><strong><em>Agagianian</em></strong><strong> Library</strong></p><p style="text-align: justify;">The <em>Agagianian</em> Library is situated at the heart of the University of Dalat campus in a picturesque landscape, surrounded by <em>Hội Hữu</em> Lecture Hall, <em>Minh Thành</em> Lecture Hall, Spellman Auditorium, and <em>Năng Tĩnh</em> Chapel. The library is named after Cardinal Gregorio Pietro Agagianian and was inaugurated by him in 1959.</p><p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>The Artificial Intelligence Center (AIC–DLU)</strong></p><p style="text-align: justify;">After 1975, the <em>Agagianian</em> Library continued to serve the research and study needs of faculty members and students at Dalat University for many years until the new Information Center and Library came into use in 2005.</p><p style="text-align: justify;">With the sponsorship of the <em>Imex Pan Pacific Group</em> (IPPG), the old library building was renovated and upgraded in 2022 to become the headquarters of the Artificial Intelligence Education and Training Center of Dalat University (AIC–DLU). This center, located on the university’s spacious, green, and picturesque campus, features three large classrooms with a capacity of approximately 60 students per room and is equipped with modern facilities to support AI education, research, and innovation. The AIC–DLU reflects the vision and ambition of Honorary Doctor <em>Johnathan Hanh Nguyen</em>, the Chairman of IPPG and an alumnus of the university, in building an AI-robotics-based education center in Vietnam to nurture AI talent for the country.</p>
